Aguilar's AG 5J-60 is the 5-string edition of the AG 4J-60. It is a set of two bass guitar pickups built to 1963 specs for a dynamic, highly coveted sixties jazz bass guitar sound. These single-coil pickups were designed to sound both deep and clear while accurately reproducing all the details of your playing. To recreate the authentic '60s sound, the Aguilar AG 5J-60 have alnico V magnets with the right gauge Formvar copper wire.

For these pickups, Aguilar developed a patented winding pattern to create balanced volume levels between the strings while retaining a full, articulated tone.
